”Richard’s service is expert throughout. He supported both of my parents with their wills and guided us through the process with expertise and empathy. I can highly recommend Richard’s service which is both reasonably priced and efficient. I will be asking Richard to support me in drawing up my own will.”
Rachel Mills.

  • A Will can specify up to 4 guardians for your children in the event of both parents being deceased. Without a Will Social Services will make that decision and possibly take them into care.

  • A Will ensures your estate is passed to your spouse and children in a way of your choosing. Without one the courts decide who receives your assets. Your spouse receives a statutory sum and the remainder shared equally between spouse and children.

  • Without a Will your partner will not be automatically entitled to any of your estate. A Will ensures they receive the money and property that you want them to have. This avoids the need to get involved in an expensive and time costly court action for your partner to receive any assets

  • If any of your estate is solely in your name, probate is required before any of it can be gifted. With a Will this is  a reasonably efficient process. Without one there could be delays and extra expense which could leave your spouse and children without funds for a lengthy period.
